Promoting the educational future of our children by awarding scholarships the Daughters of Penelope District 5 recognize that education is the keystone for advancement today.

Since 1976 the District 5 Daughters of Penelope has been awarding scholarships to qualifying students whose family members are associated with the District 5 Daughters of Penelope.

 

Over the past forty-three years scholarship awards have ranged from $150 to $1,500.

As of 2019 the DOP has awarded approximately $62,000 in scholarships.

 

Since 2000, the Foundation is charged with raising funds to add to the investment funds to help perpetuate the scholarships funds.
